Samsung 20S INR 18650 2000mAh 30A Battery
The Samsung 20S is a potent 18650 battery with a continuous discharge rate of 30A, making it ideal for high-drain specialized devices. It has unprotected flat top terminals and an INR (LiNiMnCoO2) sub-chemistry for increased stability and performance.
It is indeed a fantastic cell in terms of performance. The only 30A 18650s we had up until now have been the 1500mAh LG HB2/4/6. The Samsung 20S has not only more capacity than those cells, but it also responds much better, allowing us to vape for much longer at higher current levels.
It looks to have a true 30A rating and hits harder than just about any other 18650 down to about 3.3V. There are better larger capacity options at lower current levels, around 20A. The Samsung 20S, meanwhile, is the obvious winner at 30A. The 20S and the VTC5A/5D/6A are a close race in the 20A-30A range. You’ll have to put them to the test and see which one works best for your vaping style.
Samsung’s ratings are 30A constant and 2000mAh. The datasheet will alter these ratings if necessary. Two cells with the intention of testing them.
